Art Study

“Man” is the title of my representational art that invites the viewers to see a perspective of a man in a vast scenery. The title “Man” is intentionally put because the painting represents a scenery with a man letting the viewers have their own perspective of this painting.

My main reference for this painting is a photo from the internet, I used watercolour to paint the scenery and a marker to sketch the man. The scenery was made using watercolour to emphasize the dark sky and a lighter ground.

This work engages us to see and feel like we are the man in this painting and how we see life as a whole. This is a work that is plain and simple but can be interpreted in many different ways.
